Amazon.co.uk and its uses

Amazon is an online marketplace that has recently become a digital distribution service, from the kindle books and pc games that it sells. it is one of the biggest online market places on the internet, it allows for small shops an companies to sell their stock and also sells its own. The website is very user friendly and is targeted at an age range of any age, as long as you're old enough to order from the website, it sells just about anything for anyone. The website is very secure so there is no need to worry about your bank details, you are able to use paypal which is an even safer method of payment. This website can be compared to Ebay.co.uk, which is an online auction house, I personally prefer Amazon over Ebay as Amazon is more reliable, and a lot of the time you can find a great deal on something without having to go through the hassle of bidding. And a lot of the time on Ebay you can run into problems with payment, just the other day when I sold some old electronics on Ebay, the payment was never made to my account, I had to go through the hassle of contacting the buyer and questioning him on the order, turned out he had no money in his account at the time of purchase, it took me 3 weeks to get the money through. There's also the problem of scammers, they will often sell fake products or find ways not to pay you for your items you're selling. These are just some of the problems I have with Ebay and why I prefer Amazon over any online marketplace.
